One inbox. A team of engineers.
Quote, diagnostic, second opinion, software build — if it’s in scope we’ll say so. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you who we’d call. There’s no sales-rep tier between you and the people who would do the work.
For a structured project, the quote form collects the right information up-front. For everything else — questions, advisory, tire-kicking before a kickoff — the inquiry form below is the shortest path.
Send a message.
Three minutes to fill out, one business day to respond. Replies come from hello@shiftctrl.net — if you whitelist nothing else, whitelist that.
Questions we hear most.
What people ask when they’re deciding to reach out, and what they ask once we’re already in the thread. If yours isn’t here, send a message — we’ll answer it inline.
Who actually reads these?
Submissions land in the same inbox the principal engineer reads. There is no triage layer, no sales-rep queue, no off-shore pre-qualification. The first person to open it is someone who could scope the work themselves.
What’s the difference between this form and the quote form?
The quote form collects structured information — project type, timeline, budget, attachments — so the first reply can be a real proposal. This form is for everything else: questions, advisory, second opinions, partnerships, anything not yet shaped like a project.
Do you do free consultations?
A first scoping call is on the house — usually 20–30 minutes. We don’t charge to figure out whether the work is in our wheelhouse or not. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you who else to call.
How fast do you reply?
One business day. Almost always sooner. If something is genuinely time-critical, mention it in the first line of the message — we’ll prioritize it accordingly.
Can I just email instead?
Yes. hello@shiftctrl.net is the canonical address — every reply you’d get from the form comes from there anyway. The form just shapes the first message, which keeps the back-and-forth shorter.
